Yeah, well he's an important character - Aragorn is the only surviving heir of Isildur, who smote the Dark Lord. So the One Ring is technically his.
So why's he leaving it with Frodo Baggins?Would you want an evil ring?

Boromir |
Boromir is one of the sons of Denethor, Steward of Gondor. He's the other man (besides Aragorn) in the Fellowship.

NO. Get over that! Boromir goes to Rivendell (where the big meeting is) because he wants an explanation for a dream he keeps having.
Why does Aragorn go, then?
He's a Ranger, which means he travells around. He goes to the Prancing Pony to find Frodo and co. and bring them back to Rivendell for the big meeting.

The Steward of Gondor. Steward means a ruler elected by the people, by the way. The people in question are waiting for the legendary heir of Isildur to come rule. Sound familiar?

good... You may think he likes arguements, considering the one he has with Legolas about knocking Gimli's block off. (If anyone didn't understand that figure of speech, it means 'head'). If Eomer and Eowyn are both at Rohan, and Wormtongue's there, haven't they noticed him? |
